external image Casablanca_movie_poster_humphrey_bogart_ingrid_bergman.jpgNow, when it comes to mentioning old films, such as for example films from the 30's, 40's, and 50's, I turn away with disgust. Not that i hate those old classic films, but they just never really appealed to me, with the cheesy romance scenes and horriable stunts. But after watching Casablanca, I have a whole perspective on these types of films. Casablanca is just about a perfect movie in every aspect. I was stunned at how well the acting was performed, each character had a soul that you could relate to, and they were truly believable. it was like their emotions and thoughts were beyond the limited screen and were tossed right you. Truly a great performance from the actors. The story and script are also to be well accounted for because everything work perfectly. The story was very orignal and kept you interested one hundred percent of the time, from the begining to the end. and not to mention how well the script was written, honestly, i dont know what to say about the script, other than working very well along with the story and that it really showed clear insight on character's personality, emotions, their past, and thoughts. Lastly, the music deserves a round of applause for its spectacular performance. It really adds more depth and life into the scene. I personally give the music writer a thumbs up for performance. In the end, this movie has change some of my perspectives for the classics during this time the movie was produced and that i will begin to think a little higher for that generation. I can understand now why this movie is a classic, its just about perfect in every way, from the script, the story, the acting, permormance, and music all fits in together perfectly. I would recomend this movie to anyone who love movies in general, and even if you were lie me and hated those old movies, this movie is deffinatly worth your time.
